Lisbon

We most star our trip early in the morning in Lisbon, Sintra or Cascais.

Cathedral of Evora

We´ll start our tour in Evora Visiting Cathedrals and Churches.

Igreja da Misericórdia

We will visit The Mercy Church "Igreja da Misericórdia" and the Church off Sao Francisco,
"Igreja e Mosteiro de São Francisco"

Bones Chapel

The Capela dos Ossos was built in the 16th century by a Franciscan friar who, in the Counter-Reformation spirit of that era, wanted to prod his fellow brothers into contemplation and transmit the message of life being transitory. A very common spirituality theme summed up in the motto memento mori.
This is clearly shown in the famous warning at the entrance: Nós ossos que aqui estamos pelos vossos esperamos. (“We bones that here are, for yours await", or, more poetically, "We bones you see in this poor state for you and yours do sit and wait".)

University of Évora

College of the Holy Spirit, Its the Actual University of Evora. Great historical place to know.

Convento da Cartuxa

Alentejo its a region that produces unique wines, hot and dry climate, it is indispensable to use drip system in the vineyard, with soils and reliefs a very sunny area that allows a perfect maturation of the grapes. A wide range of wineries in this region such as Cartuxa or Pera Manca.

Roman Temple of Evora

Another monument of great value is the Temple of Diana or Evora Temple, which justifies the importance that Romans gave to this beautiful city, close to the Cathedral, built in the Roman period, from here we can visualize the magnificent aqueduct, outside the city walls and extending from the it´s outskirts, some of its arches are still visible inside the city, built in the XVI th century to ensure water transportation.

Convento de Lóis

The Convent of Lóios, also known as the Convent of St. John the Evangelist, was built in the 15th century on what was left of a medieval castle.

It is a set of rectangular plan that develops around a cloister of two floors, being the inferior floor of gothic-Manueline style and the superior already with characteristics renaissance.

The Teatro Garcia de Resende in Évora, Portugal, is one of the most representative "theaters in Italy Style" in Portugal
